MISSION
To strengthen Canva Italia’s connection with the Gen Z and creator communities through an influencer-driven activation that showcased the platform’s creative potential in an authentic and inspiring way. The mission aimed to position Canva not only as a design tool, but as a cultural platform enabling self-expression, by launching a summer-themed video template designed to engage users in sharing their personal stories.
STRATEGY
The strategy centered on the collaboration with Marco Ferrero—as both campaign face and art director—and Jenni Serpi, two creators representative of Italy’s new digital creativity. Together, they developed a custom Canva video template built around the storytelling concept “Summer Recap”, blending dynamic visuals, fresh aesthetics, and relatable emotions.
Through organic influencer content, social amplification, and user participation, the activation encouraged the community to recreate and personalize their own summer recap, driving engagement and reinforcing Canva’s positioning as a creative, accessible, and trend-aware platform for self-expression.
